Erawan Waterfall

Erawan Waterfall, Kanchanaburi’s largest and most spectacular waterfall, falls from the Huai Mong Lai River down a 2100 metre tall mountain. The waterfall is 1500 metres long with seven stages, each with a fantastic and safe swimming place. You may also enjoy the splendor of the hill evergreen forest and deciduous forest by taking a 30-minute walk through Erawan nature path.

Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum

Hellfire Pass is part of the Death Railway, which was ruthlessly built by prisoners of war during World War II. Hellfire is a place where the railway required to dig through the mountain, but it was technically impossible, but POWs and laborers were forced to chisel the rock in order for the train to pass. The pass is no longer applicable, and it now displays historical instruments and images.

Railway Centre Museum

The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre is an interactive museum, resource centre, and research facility dedicated to exhibiting the Thailand-Burma Railway’s history. This was built by the Imperial Japanese Army during WWII utilising Allied prisoners of war and persuaded Asian labourers and ran 415 kilometres from Ban Pong in Thailand to Thanbuyuzayat in Burma. The Centre is entirely air-conditioned and provides an instructive and moving experience for visitors.
